FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, Help me find these two songs.

They play them at my work all the time and I currently have them stuck in my head. Don't work for another week and who knows if they'll play the same station.

Song #1: Singer sounds like Kings of Leon, the chorus is just whistling, really up beat and catchy, has some lyrics about "You and I" and "change the world".

Song #2: Sounds like deadmau5 in the background with female singer (not medina... does remind me of the song You&I though), sounds kinda like she's singing "I'm a believerrrr" in the chorus.

Both new songs.

I will be slave for person(s) who finds said song(s).

... I was at work. Doing a job. Working. In front of my managers. And customers who can complain. And busy as shit. Believe me, I would have all 50 times I heard that song if I could.
 
Not coming up on iTunes so no. It's on the radio so it's gotta be a band that's not that far out of the box...

It's really hard to describe the style... pretty pop/happy. There's another artist he sounds soooo much like but I can't put my finger on it.
 
Nope. That voice does sound kinda like him though.

It's such a catchy song! I can't believe google yields no results with 239482384 different searches. It sounds like a song that could be in a commercial or movie.

when googling the two strings of words you had, the only result was this exact page. you must have heard the lyrics wrong.

seriously type this into google:

"girl you and i" lyrics "we're gonna change the world"

quotes force words to be in order, this is the one result.
 
These songs have whistling in them, and mention the word "world," but that is as close as I can get. They're definitely wrong, but I'm going to bed now. You should post your question to Yahoo answers. They seem to be good at stuff like this.

that's what i was thinking, pbj has the raspy upbeat thing with lots of whistling

what was the 2nd song? every single house song now has some woman singing and music in the background that sounds like deadmau5. i could post 50 songs that meet that description and none of them would be the right one
 
One Republic - Good Life or PBJ - Young Folks. Totally different songs. PBJ is more whistling. OneRepublic is new and on the radio lots... The PBJ song came out like 5 years ago.
 
That's what I was about to post. It's the only song I can think of right now that has a lot of whistling

lolzzzz. You guys are posting all the same songs I have gotten with my search results. Def didn't hear the words wrong. It's on of those songs that if you know it, you would have known the song by my description immediately. It's not a big d, I'll just shazam it or look at the music player and see if it says the name next time I'm at work.

zerospinskier, Neva died on the dirtbike. :D I'd post my edits here and show you but errrrr, I don't do that sort of thing.

I'll post the song here if I ever find it.
