I've got a brand new pair of volkl Karmas 177cm ('05) for sale, never been used. You can read about them in the november issue of Freeskier Magazine in there buyers guide. Quote from the magazine, 'This (the karma) was probably the all-around favorite ski of the 2005 test, and every guy who skied it - all sizes and styles of skier- loved it. I've seen them selling for 579$ at skiershop.com so I guess I have to sell em cheaper. I'd like to get 500$ for them or best offer. If your interested post or you can email me at orage_ski@hotmail.com with an offer or questions. I'll have some pictures soon.

Moving to BC really opened up my eyes to what skiing is really about. HINT: Skiing isn't about tiny verticals, shit talking, and private clubs galore. Get the fuck out of Glen Eden and Craigleith or Caledon, and get real.'-what jib this thinks of me

ya 300 for the motherships sounds like a good deal but they are a lot different in fattness so I guess its depends what kind of ski you prefere

Those Karma's are soft! I was supprised something left the Volkl factory without a steel plank laminate. In addition to the moships being narrower they are a ton stiffer, all I know is I wouls hate to be cought at the top of an ice chute with the karma's they would be sloppy holding you b4 you dropped in, or you would fall over when that dove tail broke off. =o) Still though, on pow that ski will be sexy.

^^I think you are referring to Volant. They use a metal laminate on their ski topsheets.

na to further my reign of the ideal idot on this forum, I was thinking of the Sanouk's, as far as the steel sheet laminate, that was mearly a figure of speach, Volkl makes a stiff ass ski (in general) even the volants top sheep, are they even steel, its stainless isnt it?
