For all you Full Tilt owners...

i just got a pair of full tilt booters 2010 model today at my shop. when i got home, i just buckled them on for the hell of it, but when i took them off and i was looking at the cables, i noticed something bad. where the top cable goes in/ attached to the boot in the little plastic slot, the plaastic holding the cables in is cracked in there from cable to cable. anyway, the cables arent sliding out because i tugged on them hard, and i marked a little line on the cable with a sharpie so i know if the cable is coming out a little, the line will move and i would notice...but the top buckle when adjusted the tightest it can go, the cracked boot is a tad, like fairly minamal difference, is a little bit easier to clamp down..but it seems to remain just as tight as the other boot thats adjusted the same and not cracked.

so whats the deal? anyone else have this issue? any info is appreciated and +k for posts.

non cracked:

What shop did you get them from, and what state are you from? I ordered some booters from full tilt a while ago and shopatron still says they are being pre-ordered. If I were you I would take them back to the shop you got them from just to be sure.

the pic didn't work, but the top buckle is always easier for me to buckle on my booters, the middle is usually the hardest. As far the crack goes, that seems wierd, you can always take it back to the shop and they can fix it - all those parts come out and are inter changeable.

you have to upload it to newschoolers, click on the picture icon in the reply (looks like a mountain and a sun - up above where you type) and then click upload picture, upload it then click on it to add it.
If you worried about it (which you have every right to be - if you dropped like $500 on new boots, you want them to not be broken) take them to the shop, it really shouldn't be a big deal to fix them, but do it sooner than later cause it'll be more of a hassle.

i think i can see whats going on. ive never had this problem personally but surely you can take them back to the shop and explain they are faulty get youre money back or a diff pair?
