Alright so last night i went to my first Dave Matthews Band concert, actually it was my first actual big concert because last time i was planning to go i got caught smoking weed. Anyways when i get to Dave at Darian Lake in NY my friend meets up with his sisters friends in college and the first thing she said was our bear is your beer. So of course we drank there whole thirty within a half an hour and now it was only an hour and 1/2 until Dave Started. We then walk over to our friend group where there is everyone in our grade literally like 100 kids form our grade out of like 5 or 6 hundred. I get a few more beers in me and head into the concert when i see a 40 year old guy headbutt a kid in the side of the head, then punch his straight in the face, then headbutt him again so now i'm pumped. Finally Dave starts and honestly plays the sickest songs

During the concert me and one of my friends got peed on by drunk people behind us, and after the concert the most badass kid to ever come out of our high school was looking for a fight so he took an empty beer bottle and threw it at a Hummers window so the guy would fight him but of course it got broken up. Also during this whole thing there was a chick fight which are always great. Lastly we all had to go to school hungover and a few kids even threw up during school.

Also, your idiot friends, the 40 year old, the drunk people behind you, the most badass kid ever are the reason why dave concerts get a bad rap..you sound like you had a good time tho which is cool
And chick fights are always cool

sorry that i don't find being in the pouring rain with a million shit shows listening to shitty music fun

Word i saw a few Newschoolers there, but if you don't like Dave then it probably doesn't sound fun.

Honestly i would normally agree with you besides the shit music part, like with the rain i would normally be like fuck this i'm out, but it started down pouring during Funny the way it is and everyone just went bananas which was cool as hell it only lasted 10 minutes at the most.

Dave concerts are lifetime experiences. They can literally change lives. I highly recommend every single person no matter how old or young go. I don't give a shit if you hate him...once you hear him live i can assure you that will quickly change. And aside from the music portion..best damn tailgate parties known to this world...no matter where the concert is. My only regret about seeing Dave this year is that i was too fucked up to remember shit. But i swear on my parents grave DMB is the best live band.
EAT DRINK AND BE MERRY

The sound of Dave's music makes me want to attach crowbars to each blade of an industrial strength fan and stand next to it so the repeated blows to my skull soften the pain of the crap that pelts my ears from all directions. If your life is changed by a bunch of drunk high schoolers and middle aged fat guys rocking out in a mudpit, you should probably just remove yourself from the gene pool in any way you see fit. I saw Dave last week and I fell right asleep.

I went to a dave concert at SPAC two weekends ago. It was fun but far from "life changing". I usually reserve that phrase for near-death experiences, prophetic visions or James Cameron movies.

WINNER.

dave fucking sucks. i dont understand how people cant see that. its like looking at somebody with AIDS and going "boy, i wish i could be him right now!" everybody knows that AIDS sucks, why the fuck dont you know that DMB sucks? its terrible, so is the scene.

and Birkenstocks are overpriced and shitty.

Ah, right, I forgot about the part where you came up to me and we fist bumped and listened to Dave all night together..
