Yo first of all shut the fuck up cuz you have no idea what you r talking about, second of all why would u dis on something that makes u amazing at rails helps your balance and is good exercise, just because it has become more underground and so technical nun of u that dis it can even understand it anymore. It has come along way since the tight pant rollerskating on the piers in the 80's and now is one of the most proggressive intense sport out there. Just look at all the skiers that roll for example charles gagnier, Dave Crighton, pretty much most of the Quebecians, and I bet when your on the hill and see that kid who is so origonal at rails and you say hot dam check him out I bet there is a good chance he rollerblades. So quit the hate toward rollerbladeing and check this vid out it may just change your minds.

ur like its great for ur skiing but i mean so are alot of things but i'm not about to start them up. Dude you want to get good at skiing, ski. I mean i have no problem with bladers but just say you do it cause you enjoy it and cut the S***
 
honestly I enyoy the hell out of it but if I didint' ski I probboly would never even thuoght of rollin, the only reason I startd is cuz it was like skiing but I could do it in the summer. I f I didn't ski I'd def be like a hard core mtn. biker or something with a bike.
 
Wow that kid is awesome, but he's still rollerblading. I guess it just doesn't excite me. It's too bad becuase it looks like some people have put a lot of time and energy into that "sport" and have become very good, but still NO ONE CARES!
 
i got into rolling first when i was like 9 or 10 and then i got into freeskiing. i don't roll that much any more (none so far this spring and only a few times last year)
 
who sayed blading is gay? not i, i dont rollerblade, i skate board but you guys and shread so i dont have a problem with you

the only thing gay about it is when little kids get right in your way when your skating but for dudes who are actually good at it its tite
 
iwent skatoiing yesterday for the first time in a while, it was sick i was stompin mad shit. then i fell on the stupidest thing , hyperextended my elbow, the doc said i tore mad ligaments i ha bve to go see an ortyhopedic doc.

but im done skating, if anyone wants to buy some goods skates hit me up
 
^lol, thats the main reason I never got into it, I'd rather get hurt skiin in the summer than roller blading.

Pep and T-hall are some of the best skiers int he world, and they SKATEBOARD. rollerbnlading just looks goofy and wouln't help to furthur your skiing very much
 
just do wat u like do do, i mean i wouldn't start up a sport just cus it helps with skiing i'd have to like it.

i don't hate rollerblading, or any sport for that matter (except maybe curling).
 
thankyou for starting this thread some people just dont get that many pros and good skiiers do it and why the fuck dont rollerbladers get any respect?
 
to tell you guys the truth, i started rollerblading before skiing. i used skiing as a way to get better at blading. then i started to love skiing and used blading as a way to get better at skiing. and let me tell you, it helped me so much. this varies ebtween people but for me, skiing was way easier and less scary than rollerblading.
 
and skateboarding does? totally different center of weight/gravity, totally different balance points, totally different motions, totally irrelevant grabs/grinds.

open your eyes, skateboarding is much less related than rollerblading.

yea honestly, kids hating on rollerblading just because it is the gay thing to do, and all the cool skateboarders say its gay, and they have rollerskates on need to try it, it is ridiculously fucking hard, and while the halfpipe rollerskaters are getting a little to aerialistic for me, the street skaters are throwin down durty. now about that video, farmer is super tech, but i still have seen nobody come close to murda... he is god
 
yeah, i guess rollerblading is okay, i dont really like rollerblading in the pipe though, and its Quebeckers by the way, not quebecians, hahaha
 
I think rollerblading always looks so sloppy. No doubt the guy in the video is sick as hell, but he almost always looks like he's about to fall over. Skiers are so much smoother.
 
i thing its so funny how many people dis on bladers. i ride Denver Skatepark every day, and i have never seen a rollerblader go to the skatepark and just sit on his ass and think he looks cool. they are always trying huge shit and tech tricks an whatnot.

i see at least ten wannabe hessian rocker skaters at the park every day getting in the way tring to learn ho to manual at .002 miles per hour, and getting in the way, or just chilling on the ledge talking shit.

and like ive said before, the best snowboarder i know rollerblades during the summer to stay in shape. im talking like frontside nosepress on a 70 foot roller coaster and perfect styly 7s off of rollers. thats just the beginning.
 
rollerblading is sick when people make it look stylish. the only thing i hate about it is your arms are so flaily, and its very hucked. i'm the kinda guy that would rather see a huuuge switch cork 7 true nose, as opposed to a hucked sw10 with no grab. but i guess it's just personal preference..
 
i love how i always tease ganier fer blading and chuck constanly tells me "dude charles skates" i respect him for not rollerblading......
 
i kinda find it hard to believe that gagnier doesnt rollerblade...ALL his grinds are rollerblade grinds. he has to have some blading influence, but if not then people cant say that 1 foots dont belong in skiing because its a rollerblade grind. becuase if charles didnt get it from blading then its pure skiing progression.
 
well if u dont want it to be thought of as gay by so many people......stop calling it things like 'rollerblading'....and say wat most people call it, 'in-line skating' or just 'in-lining.'
 
why would we not call it rollerblading? we are on rollerblades, and we are rollerblading. im pretty sure you dont know what youre talking about.
