Really? He probably won't be in the starting 11 at all.

I'd say Joe Hart was my biggest pick, the man is gonna be unstoppable next season.

yeah! fuck this sucks i wasted my time setting up my account and shit because it hought it was FOOTBALL not soccer. wtf i want my time back

Yeah it's pretty dumb if you didn't realize right away when you clicked the link, I didn't see a pigskin anywhere on that page.

RVP - Bent - OdemwingieSilva - Walcott - Albrighton - Some scrub

Cahill - Kompany - Some scrub

Howard - Schwarzer

Bam!

I can see this either going really well, or failing miserably.

Gary Cahill is the only player from your team in mine.

I'm gonna share my team on Saturday so nobody can make massive changes and copy mine ;)

Actually to be honest I see it failing miserably now that I look deeper.

Odemwingie is doubtful to even play and even then his opener is against Utd.

Bent is a total waste of 10m, might as well wait it out for Hernandez.

RVP is shit and will always be shit.

Walcott had trouble even seeing the pitch last year.

Albrighton is too young and inexperienced to make a large impact on a shit team like Villa.

Howard is shit go with Cech, Hart, de Gea (someone reliable on a good team) and the substitute could be an 4m rated player because the main goalie is always gonna play.

And to include 2 "scrubs" in your starting line-up is stupid.

Where to begin?

Transfers aren't something I use a whole lot which explains some of this but:

Odemwingie over the full season is a great buy as he had the third most goal + assists (22) last year....only after RVP and Drogba.

Bent is the primary scorer on a respectable team and a noted poacher that last year had 4 more goals than Hernandez.

RVP is shit? His goals per game, and assists per game were unmatched last year and he's in great form to start a new season.

Theo had 16 goals/assists....great return for a midfielder in Fantasy but is essentially a forward.

F spending 7+ on a goalie - they don't get enough points to justify that cost.

Further Cahill and Kompany are on two of the stingies defenses out there.

Curious to see your line up

And when I'd originally posted I forgot my other midfielder is Taarabt and my other defender is Baird....far from scrubs :)

I don't wanna get into a full blown argument aha just giving some feedback (maybe a bit harsh).

In your first post your recommendation was transfers although they cost you points, which is why I thought Odenwingie wasn't a suitable pick atm with all the speculation about moving to Wigan and his injury might sit him out for the first game (costing valuable points).

Bent might be good for now, but when Hernandez comes back he seems like a better pick (coming from a guy who hates United and Hernandez) as he's on a more respectable team, is a way better poacher, and will see a lot more of the pitch than he did last season.

Van Persie was more of opinion really, I just find him useless everytime I watch him and for 12m is quite a waste I would rather Rooney who is coming back to peak form.

And don't get me wrong, Walcott is one of my favourites but isn't the most reliable when it comes to the points department. When he plays, he does well but I saw a lot of him on the bench last season.

And that's probably one of your biggest faults as a good goalie can make just as much as any other player (Hart who I have on my team made 175 which is like the 3rd most points and is looking just as promising to do it again).

Lastly, it's a whole new season man, one of the biggest mistakes people do is choose players who earned the most points in the previous. What I tend to do is choose wisely each gameweek (sometimes make a few extra tranfers even at the cost of points) according to the fixtures (Choose Cahill if Bolton are playing a shit team, remove/substitute him if their playing a quality team).

I'm such a masochist...

At this point I feel we're fucking sunk....

Never should have ditched on Carroll... especially since we've lost our better players rather than really adding anything spectacular with that 35m...

Newcastle's a MASSIVE club... if they can't land serious talent with a 35 million dollar budget... them somethings wrong, or Mike Ashley's being a pocketing cunt.

Yeah selling Carroll was a huge mistake, and although 35m could get you a solid player or two, it's gonna be hard to replace him. Gotta hope Ameobi, Best, maybe even Ranger can step up to the plate this year.
And with all the Barton non-sense and ridding of Jose Enrique, the future doesn't look so bright.

Yeah, it's safe to say, we're probably boned right now...

Getting guys like Ba, Obertan, and Cabaye are nice additions, but they shouldn't have been at the expense of losing Nolan and Enrique...

I hope Ben Arfa can do what he did last year before his Injury though...

Obertan is an interesting addittion though. He never broke into the United first team but anytime I've seen him he looks extremely talented.

Super excited for tomorrow morning thank God not all of the games are cancelled.

Oh yeah I'm extremely excited to see what this team's capable of and whether it can actually be an improvement on last year's squad or not.

right now I feel that we really need to go to a 3 back defensive set though with the loss of el toro.

I wouldn't put it totally beyond us to beat them... especially with our current luck against the better clubs ever since we rose up from the shit championship...

Still... if that were the case we'd TOTALLY have to manipulate their midfield and I just cant see us doing that right now lol.

We have always done well against them when at home... so we'll see - it's first game though, and it's pretty much gonna be france vs france after the summer signings.
Right - i have to go get my BA Business Class Flat Bed to London...... yes - Claim..... BOOF!
I land in london tomorrow about Lunchtime - straight to hotel, change then to the boozer for the 5:30 kick off..... cannae wait!
