Both of my feet are tatted. Small text pieces by the heel/ankle.

Bigger better pieces would be dope too, its what you want in the end, not other people. Foot tattoos are easy to hide too if you're that worried about "looking gay"
 
Probably depends on what it is, usually the foot is the popular girls tattoo spot, but meh his body not mine.
