WARNING: If you can't handle a rant then read no further.
So I officially hate airlines. Today I was supposed to be leaving Boston to New York and from New York to Buenos Aires to go to SASS.
Show up at the airport check in and shit no biggi. Leave the counter go and catch dinner with my parents cause we were like 3 hours early (stupid ass international travel). So we eat and I'm gettin ready to go through security and I glance up at one of those signs with all the flight statuses on it.
"What the heck my flights cancelled?"
We return to the counter because we figure there would be another flight to New York and i could just hope onto my second flight anyways. Nope not happening. Every airline except Delta has cancelled all flights into New York and Delta's not talking any more passengers.
BULLSHIT.
Ok whatever that's fine I'll go a different way. Nope that won't go either no one else flys to Argentina this time of day. Only option was Miami to Brazil to some little assairstripe in Argentina and THEN Buenos Aires. No not doing that either. So finally they figure it out and I'll be getting there Sunday instead of Saturday. I can live with that.
Now that that was all finished I had to get my skis back because of course I had arleady checked my luggage before they cancelled the flight.
That turned into a two hour whirlwind of misdirection and dealing with one of the biggest idiot desk clerks I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Finally after yelling at this dude a good four times my bag appears, but no skis.
Another half hour and a couple more yells at the dude got my skis back and had me on the way back home to where I am now typing this shit instead of being on a plane to Argentina and the pow that I so crave.
