Fluoro?

Hey NS,

So i'm going to invest in a waxing iron and while I was looking at waxes I noticed that some are low fluoro, others high fluoro or non fluoro.

What does this mean? What different purposes have the waxes with low/high fluoro?

Thanks

With park skis, you would realistically never need any high fluoro waxes; the wax on park skis is mainly to protect them rather than to make them faster.

Fluoro isn't worth it unless you're racing. It will dry up your bases pretty quick. You can make your skis plenty fast with non-Fluoro wax. Buy in bulk!
