Flip Revert?

You realise he fucked up coming off the lip of the jump? and instead of dying horrible yet specatular death he decided to live, which resulted in the revert.
 
ok have any of you ever heard of the catlike minuver?
that only applys to spins and is the only way you can do that.
its in peps video and an invert flip is impossible you cant do a catlike minuver while flipping to change the flip direction
 
you clearly have not been on ns long enough to understand that was a a joke referring to an earlier thread

like someone ^^above said in wakeboarding you can do kinda superman reverts called raleys which is when u throw the board behind you and pull yourself in on the tension of the rope.... and i guess if u lay urself out into a superman on skis and then pull back ur feet underneath you again and distribute your weight backwards... u could potensialy superman revert
 
This! The only way it might be possible is corked. If you need to validate this, build a jump, don't pack it down and try to back flip it. When the jump collapses under you, you will be inverted with no rotation. Even with no rotation it is impossible to create rotation to half front flip out of it, so there is no way to stop a flip and then go back the other way. Having said that, I would love to see the video of the attempts as long as the subject didn't die or sustain a spinal injury during the attempt. Here's a thought though. If anyone is into ski base jumping, that would be the way to test it out.

But really people...pretty sure its impossible to do a half backflip and than bring it back. It would be like a cork 0
 
i believe rocket engines or some other form of thrusters would make this possible.

i drew up a rough model, and with around 240 bottle rockets, all firing at the same time, you could revert your flip, assuming average temperature and pressure, and accounting for a small rider.

ill post my equations if you don't believe me
 
the other day i was trying it on a tramp. i would superman the try to go back. its impossible. your momentum is wrong
