this is awesome. you pick a plane and fly anywhere, choose from the list of preset locations or just type in where you want to take off. great way to explore places.

and it's online too! you see other people flying around. lets have an ns gathering on there. summit county? i find the su 35 easiest to fly

Also DC3 is pretty easy to fly

pain to fly. I just use the flight sim mod that i downloaded from an areo space class much better and you should use the joy stick

It takes me 25 minutes to fly across the state of Texas at cruise mach including climbout, vectors, and approach. If we push it up to .9 mach we are going almost 600 knots ground speed and could do it way faster. Jets are fast man.

To everbody complaining about lag, you need one powerful fucking computer or you can forget having fun on flight simulator. If you do have a bomb computer flight simulator is simply insane. Check out the vid I posted like 3rd post

this thread ruined my what could have been productive morning. Forgot all about the simulator till I came here. I have flown around the whole West Kootenays, through the Grand Canyon, from Sacramento over Tahoe to Reno turned and headed down the spine of the Sierra Nevada crossed over to Vegas and crashed into the strip, took off from Katmandu and did a couple fly by's over Everest. I think I'm simulator'd out for a bit.

flying the dc3 around stranda norway and surrounding towns, baller as fuck. gliding with the engine off is fun too
