Flexon or Full Tilt boot help

Alright, I used to ski on a pair of

Raichle Flexon Comps, I skied them without a footbed for a few years,

and always thought they were a little bit too small. I don't remember

having any other problem with that boot. I sold them to my brother.

I then bought some Tecnica Diablo Magnesiums and had quite a few

problems, althought they were generally comforatable. I begged my

brother to let me use his Raichle Flexons (the ones I sold him) today

for skiing at Alta. I did this because I was considering purchasing a

pair of Full Tilt Konflicts.

My brother now skis the Flexon with an Orange Superfeet Footbed in

them. The footbed seemed to work fine, although it feels a little

tighter in the forefoot than I remember it. The boot worked like a

charm, except ONE MAJOR PROBLEM. It seems that right in front of the

shin, the blue part of the shell was digging into the liner, which was

causing alot of pain on my shin. I have attached a photo for you to see

what I mean.

On the picture the bottom left is the entire boot (red square

highlighting the problem area). the bottom right is the shell upclose

where it pushes into the liner, the top right is when I pull the liner

away from the shell in that same spot you can see where an indentation

is left.

I don't remember having that problem before, but I almost couldn't ski

because of it today. Is the liner just getting old, is it just molded

to his feet now (he did get them heat fitted). Is the footbed taking up

too much room and it causes that? Was I wearing the liner wrong? I

really want some Full Tilts, but if this is going to be a problem, I

will have to reconsider.

I have the Konflicts from this season and I love them, I've never had any problems with anything digging into my ski, especially cause the ID liners are just epic liners. If the Konflicts fit your feet I would definitely buy them, amazing boots.

I have the bumble bee pros, and I have not had a problem like that. I would assume that the problem is because the liner is getting old. If you loved your flexons, I would highly recomend the full tilts. The new liners and very comfortable, and warm.

I have the Camo's. No issue like you're having. I'd say it's because of your old liner. You could just buy new Intuitions from Full Tilt and throw them in your Flexon's.

I have bumblebee pros and i love them, the only problem that I have is a 29 was too big but 28 is a tad bit too short so they should be fantastic after some grinding out
