Flex??

I currently ride 159 K2 Disorderlys from 2009, i grew about 6 inches and gained around 40lbs since i bought the ski and its time for an upgrade.

This has been my only twin and i am just curious on how stiff they are compared to the Line Step Ups which is one of the skis i am looking at, I have heard some people say the step ups are 2 by 4s and some say they are awesome park skis, my question is how do they compare stiffness wise from the disorderly??

About me, ski 80-90% park in the midwest snow conditions are icy 90% of the time and when we do get snow it is less than 1 foot. I am 5'10 and 150lbs (177 or 184??)

The biggest jumps we have at my home resort are usually around 35 feet to the knuckle, and the biggest i have access to are right around 50-60.

So what do you think NS would the step up be to stiff for me??

yeah i was leaning toward the 177s myself, that will still be a big step up from the 161 tip to tail that the disorderlys measure to.

Bump anybody got any knowledge for me??

Step ups are super stiff skis. for someone your size, and for the size of jumps you will be hitting i personally would go for something else. However if you are looking for a stiff ski then get em.

I hand flexed a pair of Step Ups at my local shop the other day, and they were almost the same flex as when I hand flex my Disorderlys. I'd say if you like the flex on your Disorderlys, go with the Step Ups.

last years, or this years??^

the price is definatley right on last years and i would definatley say i like the flex on the k2's.

thanks, +k
