i wana take the flat 5s to the snow to learn for a big air commin up

how hard do i need to throw it and any other tips would be nice

Searchbar and/or trick tip cult.

Do it on a tramp, do that on snow. Grabbing safety/japan makes it easier to get it around. Throw it with a bit more power than a regular 5 for the first couple times and once it gets more natural it's the same force to throw as a 5 but at a different angle basically. Just try it, it's a moderately safe trick if you don't venture over into rodeo territory and you can see your landing for like 75% or trick.
 
Can you do rodeo 5's? I thought throwing flats came really easy after learning rodeo. It just makes it easier to commit to that position in the air. It doesn't take much effort to get it around, and like he said above you can see the landing most of the way.
