FKS XXLs on 86 mm skis?

Hello fellow NSers, i have a couple of questions.

I just ordered a pair of atomic infamouses (86mm center) and I need bindings. I could get the Rossignol FKS 180 XXLs (117mm brake) for pretty good price, but the brake would be a lot wider than the ski. Would the difference be too big? Could they be bent in? If I mount them, will the brake drag while carving?

And would the 180 be way too sturdy for me? I'm 175cm/5"9' and about 60kg/130 lbs, advanced & aggressive skier. I ride mostly park and streets, but also powder every now and then.

Cheers!

First, those brakes will be way to wide. At max you should look for something with a 100mm brake, 90 if you can.

Second, yes, if you have to ask (and even at your height and weight anyways), those bindings are probably overkill for you.

I'd look at STH2 13s or maybe 16s for what you described. FKS 140s would be ok as well, though not as durable as either STH2 binding in my opinion
