FKS forward pressure adjustment

I'm having "issues" with the forward pressure adjustment on my FKS 120s. A little background, they are mounted on an Armada Alpha 1 for a 301 bsl Full Tilt Wallisch Pro. These are replacing an FKS 185 drilled for the same boot in the same spot on the same ski.

The issue I'm having is, I cannot get my boot to fully engage in the binding when I step in. I click into the binding and it engages, but I have to pull the heel piece an extra few degrees to fully engage. Is this a function of my forward pressure not being set properly?

Naturally, the response would be to take them to a shop and have them set by a "professional", but these are things I would like to learn for myself as I like to maintain my own shit!

this can often happen if your boot heels are too worn down.

my boots are in really good shape. One of the benefits of not being able to ski all that often is my gear stays pristine.

it sounds like you have to open them up a bit. what does the forward pressure tab say?

last I remember, tab was in line with the lines on the heel piece. That said, I'm at work and would have to double check when I'm home.

the forward pressure tab is notoriously inaccurate. ive been using fks/pivots for years so i just eyeball the angle of the dildo and how much force it needs move the dildo with the boot clicked in. i really, really, really dont recommend this unless you really know what's going on. go to a shop and get them to set and test them so you know where the forward pressure tab should be when set properly.

Yea the white tab means nothing. It's really hard to explain how it should clip in and look without actually being there in person. but to me it sounds like the fp is way to tight. I'll pm you a bit later. Disclaimer: if you listen to me your acls are in danger. I've set the fp on my last two sets of boots on my 140s and haven't had any problems
