FKS bindings + Trekkers?

Do they work together? Thinking about putting some of the 14 din fks rossi binders on my new lifes. I've heard mixed things about using trekkers with the older model fks bindings -- like the heel on the base plate of the trekker hits the heel piece since it's so tall - wondering if this has been fixed with newer models.

New and old FKS are identical besides the stock brakes and they all work fine with Trekkers if you set up the Trekker properly.

You have to set the first climbing clip up to prevent the trekker hit your binding.. as long as you're going uphill and not skin horizontal its not a problem..
 
No you don't even have to have the bar up if you set them up right. I've done it with two different pairs of FKS with two different boots and both times there was a gap between the boot heel and the dildo (see the shot below). Wrap a load of duct tape around the metal bar so that your brakes get engaged when the Trekker snaps in (gives you a duct tape supply on the hill too).

My bad, I have jesters, have to set the first clip up.. Thought I saw a post about this earlier and heard that was for fks also..
