check out that shit, sheared inside the toe piece casing. only jibbing rails to. i landed in a sort of hockey stop didnt make the trick kind of deal ski fell off and whalah no toe piece. the matching heal piece is super tweaked as well.

SO if anyone has fks 185's or p18's. inspect that shit before you ride. Because these bindings are meant for a few world cup races not endless rails or park jumps. so beware these things break easily if you've ridden them for more then 5-6 months.

They must be faulty. Most don't do that.

iv seen the heal pieces break where the arm meets the base plate but never the toe piece. im kind of proud that i broke em :)

wow man get onto rossi - a toepiece on their most expensive binding shouldn't snap like that, expecially given that they are metal!

that sucks man. i just mounted up my first pair of 155's today. i hope that shit doesn't happen to me this season.

it happened to you....once. I wouldnt make such a large generalization after that. Tons and tons of people swear by these bindings and cuz u happen to break urs so quick u just proved them all wrong? no. Maybe urs was just faulty or it just, for some other reason, happened to break on that one fall. try and warranty

they might be faulty but im not so sure. i think the width of the ski puts a lot of torque on that piece so over time it get to weak. im just glad i broke it jibbing some stupid rails and not skiing some bc.

^ true, but i would have though you would pull the toepiece out of the ski given its width and the FKS tight screw pattern, before you straight up snap it off
