FKS 155 Problem...

alright, so i have the older gold/black 155's mounted on my jibs. Both my DIN and FP are absolutely set right, but about 4 out of 5 times i land switch on jumps, one of my skis ejects. The only weird part is, instead of the normal release where the heelpiece stays clicked up, the heel piece pops down so the binding actually unclicks on the landing, even if i stomp my landing real clean. My guess to this problem is that maybe since the bindings are so old, a spring or something is too worn or exhausted and thats why im unclicking. Any other suggestions before i go to a shop for a release test?

Sounds like the shop is the only way forwrd. Before you go just check all the things over to make sure like din and look for any big breaks in the binding

Sometimes they don't go all the way up, next time you ski tap the back of the release lever to make sure they're locked in all the way.

The dildo piece will only stay up in a release if you release from the toe of you binding.

If you are releasing when you are landing switch, usually you are releasing from the heel of the binding (because you are leaning way forward) and because of this, the dildo piece will be pushed down.

So after an ejection, if you need to push your heel piece back down to get your ski on, you released from your toe piece. If you the heel piece is already pushed down, you released from your heel, which is usually the case in a switch ejection.

Nothing seems wrong with your binding to me.
