Fks 140 problems

Today i fell pretty bad after overshooting a 540, I just got home, and it looked at my binding, and the a metal peace on the heel binding had broken off, it is a metal part on the bottom of the binding, I will try to post a picture under. It is just the protection piece that has broke of, not the screws or the things under the metal plate. Will this affect the binding? Can i still use this ski?Thanks for any help!

Yeah, it's the half moon piece right? Broke that off both bindings and still riding them. Doesn't affect release at all from what I've noticed, just screws with the brakes a bit.
 
after my second use the heel has a hairline crack from where that screw is? does this always happen its the part right next to the din window?
 
That would be epic, but, would it work to replace the heel? wouldn't the screw holes be destroyed? or rip out? and on one of the heels, I had to change brakes, and when they remounted them they put glue in, is it possible to change this heel too? or will it be destroy the ski?
 
The screw you mount with goes through the half moon piece...

For real though, take the screws out, drip glue in the holes, put the new half moon in and do the screws back up. Bingo.
