FKS 120 vs. Axial3 120

These are the two bindings I'm deciding between. I'm 5'9" 140 and ski mostly park. I know the FKS are better for park, but I would have to redrill if my foot grew and I had to get a new boot.

Is it worth it to get the FKS 120 and redrill every time I get a new boot, or should I get the Axial3 and maybe save a few bucks and allow a little adjustment when I grow more?

which would you rather have? a safe, reliable binding, that you'll have to remount IF you size up in boots, or a cheaper, less durable, and less safe binding that isn't too great in the park.

Personally OP, I'd go with the FKS. For me, my safety is more important than saving a few bucks.

Also, how old are you and when did your mom/dad stop growing and how big are they?

I'm 16 now, and I'm probably going to grow to be around 6', but my foot right now is only an 8.5, so it'll probably grow quite a bit

The FKS' elasticity (how much it will allow your foot to travel without releasing) (why everyone loves it) is 45mm f and 28mm r. The Axial 3's is 45mm f and 27mm r.

The FKS' elastic travel is hardly more than the axial any more.

The weight is pretty much the same.

The only real argument is durability, which hasn't been proven for the axial 3's yet.

I'd get the axials.

get the axial3, theyre almost the same exact binding. ive had both and i personally wouldnt spend much more just to get the fks
