Fixing missing edge

I lost about 5 inches of edging right under my boot and really need these skis to last the rest of this winter... epoxy? ptex?

Cut out the ptex around it in a trapezoid shape, pry it up. Cut an edge to size, wood screw it into place. Then use 24 hour jb weld and leave a tiny bit of room to put ptex over it so it’ll be flush. Then detune your edge and you’ll be good as new.

Stuff some g flex epoxy in there. I would be surprised if you can fix an edge like the guy above said and get it to last if you are hitting rails.
