Fixed Gear

pretty unique and different - just like everyone else. No, but actually that's a lie. They're like hollister or Abercrombie for hipsters.

yea right i have had this bike for almost two years now..
i dont know why he would say that but its not true

hot damn, I'd prefer that ride with gears myself, but that's gotta be a FAST bike.

what's the specs on it, especially those wheels?

dont listen to this kid... ive had this bike for a while there just fucking with me and its kidd of annoying.
but yea i actually race the track its pretty cool my city just got a velodrom and im gettin into it.
and its really good for skiing cause its kinda the same muscle area like te thighs and that shit..

yeah. i know who he is. i live in Idaho with him. its not his bike. plus its a hella jackass bike anyways with its lack of bartape.

just messin i just wish i had this bike... its deffently one of the best bike ive seen. but ill post my bike up soon.

maybe, if it had bartape. and we only get a drome in like a year when its finished being built.

and by the looks of it its probably a 58 inch frame and both wheels are 700c. my friend actually has my that front wheel and that not a lie this time.

i am not really into fixed gears, but i have to say, a murdered out fixed gear like that looks dope

Some nice ones there.

I just ordered a 17 degree stem that'll give me zero rise on my frame (17 degree), and 10mm longer so I don't need the seat all the way back. Plus some black model paint to paint the rear rim.

Woah. I'm guessing you haven't set up your bike man? If your saddle was in the right position you wouldn't move it for anything. The saddle position in the rails is one of the most important factors in bikes.
When on your bike, put your crank at 9'o'clock (either one will do) the hollow on the outside of your knee and the centre of your pedal axle needs to be a vertical line. This is measured by using a plum line (string with heavy weight attached to the end). This plum line can be adjust by moving the saddle forwards or backwards in the rails.
This bit is so important as it directly affects your muscle positioning and knee joint which are the main two problems associated with cycling.
I don't mean to come off pushy I'm just trying to give you some advice to improve the overall comfort and performance of your ride.
However that is a sweet bike man, what frame is it? Just in case you ever need anything, I will do trade prices + vat(15%) on anything you should ever need for bikes in return for some Boax goods. Get in touch.
Easy boys and I'll get my fixed up soon.

The frame is a on the small side for me, it's a 58 Langster and I'm 6'4". So with the old stem (the one in the photo) I had to have the seat all the way back so that my reach was OK. But I've got a longer stem now and can ride with the seat in the right position.

There's a bike shop where I work so I've been meaning to see them next time I ride to work to see what they think of the general fit of the bike.

Oh and thanks for the offer, I didn't see you were UK at first. If I need anythign I'll give you a shout but it's pretty much set up now and I've spent way more than I was planning to already!

this is my bike. i miss it but its too expensive to ship it to new zealand. instead of coming here i was supposed to go build frames in the states.
