They lock up money that could otherwise be spent ANYWHERE. Why!?!?! Because you think the store is "my speed"? This notion that cash is a thoughtless gift is fucking STUPID. In fact, if anything, giving cash is thoughtful, because it says "hey, you're smart enough to put this in a good place". Plus there isn't an EMS anywhere near me, and fuck dropping pointless bills to have something shipped.... just no, no, no, no, NO!

someone just buy it and take the five free dollars.
 
i think the idea is more like this: "i would like to get you something cool, but im not sure exactly what you need, so heres a gift card to EMS that way you dont just take my money and spend it on weed / porn / chip and soda."
 
like returned it? could work. but good luck finding anything under 35$ at EMS. haha, shit is way expensive
