Fishing/fish keeping

This is prolly in the deepest part of NON-ski gabber, but anybody else keep fish or go fishing a lot?

I personally have a 100 gallon tank with a largemouth bass and a small northern pike. i also have a 55 gallon with a tiger oscar and a tiger shovelnose catfish. fishing helps with the pre-season hype.

I do lots of bass and pike fishing back home. Nothings better than a 40 inch pile ripping your line.

I do a lot of spearfishing too. Mostly pike but bass as well. Bass is delicious. Nothings scarier than diving through some weeds and coming up on a 40 inch pike in your face. Looks like a shark underwater

What type of bass are you talking about...

Because smallmouth bass to me tastes like river water and mud.... And the largemouth wasnt much better.

My dad gave me the birds and the bees over the course of a whole summer only when we fished. It kinda ruined fishing for me because I came out of it more confused than ever about sex and we never caught anything either...

did a generous amount of bass fishing over the summer, used to do a shit load of steelhead/brown trout fishing back in the day with my dad. Havent went in 4 years though. Planning on getting back into it this fall when they start to come into the creeks and rivers. Only a couple more weeks. Nothing compares to fighting a 28"+ steelie on a fly rod.

Both....love both! Fresh grilled with butter and lemon pepper is the only reason I would survive summers.

Walleye is way better though....probably my favorite fish. So flaky. Trout is down on the list for me. Not my favorite

I think its really dependent where you catch them. I ate a few that I caught at work up in North Ontario, and they were really good, but I’ve heard that they should be from cleaner water if you’re gonna eat em.

I do a ton of fishing in the summer for trout and bass. I fly fish as well as conventional. We have a bass fishing team at our highschool which is pretty sweet but you get made fun of for it.

We maintain a small salt tank and a large fresh water tank. The colors in the fresh water tank are not as bright but I like that when I buy a fish and it pops off I'm out $5 and not $40. Due to the price difference I suggest that people start with fresh water fish to gain experience. Both of my tanks are manufactured by Titan Aquatic Exhibits

uhhh titan is hella nice.

So op sits in his living room and fishes for a bass or a pike? Salmon, trout stealheader here........OUTSIDE.!

I live in TC michigan and fly fish the boardman river on the daily during summers. Pretty sure the river is outside. a little bass fishin is fun sometimes fsho though. Also good luck tryna keep a trout as a pet dont even try it. My bass was hatchery raised so dont think im getting them out of the wild
