I appreciate the artistry of a well-shot fish-eye vid, but I can't lie I totally prefer a video if it's clean HD and smoothly shot and cut.

I think these fisheye shots were all done properly. Distortion to the point where you can see rounded off corners is too bothersome. Sometimes it just looks like it was filmed on an iphone with a cheap fisheye lens attached.

There are clean fisheye shots and there are low quality, poorly filmed ones. The title of this thread is stupid as it implies that fisheye shots are inherently not "clean" shots.
Even recording on tape doesn't mean low quality shots.
