Georgia being close to Ukraine is kinda scary sure, but the fact that Russia invaded and annexed Georgian territory in 2008 is the real scary part.

IMO Georgia is easily one of the most likely targets for further Russian invasion in the near future (they are not a part of NATO which makes it easier for Russia), as are Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia (Russia has a region called Kaliningrad that they probably wouldn't mind connecting to the mainland).
