FIS Slopestyle World Championships

Just watched the FIS Slope worlds, and holly smokes that bottom a frame/ pyramid rail was messed up. Skier after skier were slipping and falling on it. At one point a skier claims it just for landing it. I don't know why it was not addressed by the FIS by either fixing it or removing from the course. Also I don't know why the skiers kept trying it even after skier after skier could not pull it clean. There were other jibs in that section and some skiers did not use that rail, but I just could not believe how many skier kept hitting it after seeing everyone else struggle with it.

CBC Has the full contest men's and women's on their youtube channel

Most of the skiers kept trying, because they practised their run with that particular rail. Apparently it's quite hard to just change your run mid-comp (Ragettli said something like that in an interview).

Sad to see so many fail on that last one...

Shit show of an event. An embarrassment this is called "World Championships"! How someone didn't get badly hurt is beyond me.

it's because they waxed that one feature between runs and didn't tell the riders.

(news is a few days old)
