First year orientation question

Is it worth flying to Utah mid June to go to a two day orientation? I really only want to go so I can sign up for classes, but I don't feel like using the money. I would much rather go to the late orientation in August and stay out there.

Does anyone know if it would make a huge difference in my schedule? Or affect my ski season because of a potentially shitty schedule?

Both. I waited too long to register for my classes and I got the shitty ones. Is there anyway you can register online?

Being completely uneducated in the way U of U does things I will give you my suggestion.

Go to late orientation but don't fuck around at all. As soon as you set foot on campus your number one priority should be getting your schedule together. You could also call the advisement center to see if you can set up your classes online.

yeah their offices are pretty damn busy so they usually don't answer phones, but I sent them an email asking about signing up online. We'll see what happens i guess.
