First tune/wax

So I bought some new Bdogs and I am mounting the binders next weekend. I normally do all of my own work to my skis because a friend owns the local ski shop. I am not planning on de-tuning them because this year will be barely any park until late season if any.

My question is about waxing. I use oneballjay and have been reading about not waxing until after a few days on them. They are still sitting in plastic but any advice from tech guys would be great before I head to the shop.

Not a master on this kinda stuff by any means but j always wait like 5 days of skiing to wax my new skis

well the skis come with the factory wax which should set u for the first few days.

It's much better to do at least one wax before the ski touches the snow tho. I always try to wax my skis before I ski them.

I know a few people on NS who do like 5 waxes before.

Just make sure the base isn't dry, (you'll see fine white lines in the base) as that means it's in desperate need of a wax job.
