Hey guys was just able to acquire photoshop today and finished this pic. It took about 5 hours, but I would like some tips on what else to add, maybe some tools i could use, i know its a very complex program. I've never used it from today thanks!

First thing I notice is the same pattern of birds in the sky. You gotta change that. I'm also only on mobile so can't see detail very well

the left hand near the thumb wasnt selected all the way. also it nothing really looks like its part of the picture. next time try and do some mor experimenting with opacity, blend tool, and brush tool helps alot too when u lower the opacity and lightly cover something with a color. good job though with no prior experince! i was horrible my first time.

p.s. im no expert just giving my .02

I noticed the birds as well as the cliff pattern. Definitely try to fix those, but congrats on your work dude!

hey yeah i noticed that too, it almost like removes the pattern of the water....how can i change that. I'm pretty sure i used the gradient blend tool? maybe...but it sure didn't blend very well. Help

yeah i dont like the gradient tool very much. i only use it when i need to. also i had a very hard time learning by myself too so i took classes which helped a ton. i suggest doing tutorials and shit on you tube until you really get the hang of things

Wow that's prety impressive for the first time ever using it. I like the conecept of it. There are some little mistakes in the border of the hands layer, as was pointed out, but it was pretty good overall. One thing I would do is smooth out the sharp edge between the glass orb thing and the background (if you zoom in, its very sharp. The simplist way to do this would be to get the eraser and make it say 50% fill and erase the edge a little bit. Or, you can select the edge of the layer, select the inverse, (control shift I) and then right click refine edge (control alt r i believe) and you can feather the edge outwards, so it selects into the layer. Then delete this selection (just hit delete) and it will erase the transparent part outside of the layer, and soften the edge a little. You can undo if it looks too extreme and tweak the settings again in the refine edge (think that's what its called) window that pops up. This will also fix the little errors where you can see the white background.Definitely watch some tutorials on youtube, they can be really helpful.
