First Time Smoking Weed

How come most people dont get high the first one or two times they smoke? I would also like to note that i experienced my first high last night... fucking awesome.
 
A lot of the time its because they're pussies and don't actually inhale into their lungs and just have most most of the smoke in their mouth. Gratz on your first time hope you had fun.
 
your body is either not used to the substance or you're doing it wrong. took me a few times, like 6.

but with my other friend, we wanted to make sure he felt it his first time, so we ended up smoking like 3 grams between 3 people. he felt it.
 
i would be curious to see "first time high statistics" of people who smoke cigarettes prior to those who dont
 
First time I was in an igloo right across from my headmasters house and next to the parking lot. Needless to say, it was far from fun.

You caught me. I made this thread so everyone would think I'm cool for smoking a few times. It's impossible to sneak anything past NSG's glorious defenders.
 
First time i smoked (in the ganjola) i didnt get high either, but it was probably the funniest thing ever, seeing my friends 13-14 at the time, so baked walking around the lodge tripping up the stairs with a tray full of cheese fries, and doing the stupidest shit.

but the first time i did get high was like my 5th time smoking, me and some friends hit a bong one of us made in pottery class and a GB. probably hit both 4-5 times each and felt nothing, then it all hit me at once when we finished smoking, everything went into slow motion for 2 minutes, like really slow motion, sickest feeling ever and i havent felt it since.
 
Yeah i felt it my third time but that's because i really forced it into my lungs and held it, but it took a while for the high to hit me. I was gone for the rest of the night though.
 
first time i got ripped as fuck and was laughing on the floor for a good while. i didn't get high again for like 10 times after that
 
first time i smoked my friends said the first time i wouldnt even get very high so we smoked about 8 bowls between 3 people and i got straight retarted
 
My first time i smoked out of a bowl mad from a pop can. I only got 2 good hits, and being around my friends for as long as i have been, i knew to take the hits down deep and hold it, which i did. I really didn't feel much, maybe next time :)
 
the first time i wanted to kill myself cause i toke a huge hit and didnt think it was going to be all that bad then i couldnt stop coughing the hole night my chest hurt like a bitch
 
I don't think it has to do with not knowing how to smoke. My first time i smoked a joint, but we nadered it. I dont think nadering is well known, but a nader is when you burn two holes in a plastic bottle; one just big enough for a roach to fit in and not fall threw and one to act as carb.

We burned like 4 joints in the course of an hour between in the nader between three people (Myself included). It's pretty hard to fuck up something if there is a carb. My friends were looking after me, making sure i was inhaling.

To my point i didn't get high that night. My theory is you don't realize what being high is or your cannabinoid receptors do not accept the cannabanoids in pot. Just my theorey

ps im drunk. So, if something doesnt make sense, sorry
 
Question: If you smoke a joint, or a blunt, and smoke it properly, is there almost a 99% percent chance you'll get high? Because i felt as though its kind of tricky to smoke with a bowl.
 
Im 78% sure theres a scientific reason dealing with your cannaboid receptors not being familiar with it yet so you kind of have to "warm them up" the first time

i didnt get high my first time but i vividly remember the first time i was high in my house (one out of the first 10 times i smoked not sure specific number) at night and literally walking down the hall to my tv room thinking i was a robot (while walking like a robot the whole time). once there i watched Idea and when pollard and pep were doing butters and shit it felt like i was doing them. I was then couch locked to my couch, like couldnt lift my arms up. It felt like i was on one of those carnival rides that spins around really fast where you stick to the walls.

First time I smoked I was in NYC and I got retarded.
 
i felt it my first time and it was only like 2 or 3 bowls with friends (probably only like 4-5 hits). i don't think people reallly inhale their first time.
 
same here.

then i proceeded to eat everything in sight. i woke up in the am with my arm shoved in a box of fruit loops and KILLER written on my forehead. awww memories
 
oh and to contribute to the thread

It was at my local ski hill. got high my first time, Because my freinds are awsome.
 
hahahaha...reminds me of a sign i saw a at phish show..."free drugs if you boof them" my friends and i couldnt retain our laughter for the rest of the night if it was brought up
