First time going out west, and I'm going to steamboat. What should I expect?

Great mountain. has everything you could really want but there are a ton of tourists/gapers so be prepared for that. otherwise... fantastic!

Ok cool glad to hear the mountain will be good My biggest concern is the amount of snow Steamboat will have early Janurary, but it seems like you guys are getting over a foot this week so I guess that's good news

all the gapers in steamboat stick to the lower mtn anyway, they seem to think the top of the gondola is the top of the mtn haha

Steamboat gets more snow than almost any place in CO. It will be sick! I'm going to be there the 3-6th! Can't wait
