First Snow this week!

Well I was referring to PC and Wasatch, but that's sweet that ya'all have snow up there. Time to play catch up!

i've been looking at the forecast and don't see any snow i checked the big cottonwood canyon area, ogden area, and park city area can anyone fill me in on where your getting this info from? i have heard from friends that its supposed to snow on thursday.

What a rookie. NOAA is the only way to go.

Speaking of Canyons bike park, who was there on Saturday? I rolled in just in time for the product toss. Nabbed like 5 shirts for me and co.

I missed the product toss but scored a bunch of stickers (got there right when they opened). Was up there both Sat and Sun.. such a great place to get your slopestyle fix until the snow starts falling.

i was there saturday! i think that was probably the best bike day i have ever had, it was almost as fun as skiing

almost as good. Anyone know if the gondola is still running? if so, could you take your bike up to hit hollys? But really bike up and continue to hit the bike parK?

Well Lower Hollys has been closed for a couple weeks, but the better way down is to take Mid Mtn like you're going to Ambush and then hitting a trial called Insurgent. Steeper, and has some features/jumps- pretty fun way down, then you can pop out and smoke it down the lower part of Ambush to the base. I'm pretty sure the Gondola is down too, but I'll check with my friend who works there.

Thanks man, that would be sick to at least ride up still, just bike some other trails. Insurgent and ambush are both super fun and good to haul through. It would be nice to get a couple more runs on those!

yea it's been raining all day in PC and it's still raining ATM. it keeps getting colder so we might get snow tonight. it's def snowing in lcc and maybe bcc though and maybe even at the top of pc

It started snowing at around 10:30 last night! There's half an inch on the ground right now. We're at about 7500' for reference.

IT'S HERE. For a few days and then it will be gone and then IT WILL BE HERE AGAIN :D.

Headin up tomorrow afternoon/early evening! Gonna scope out the top of Empire and see if it looks skiable with the rock skis

You think 10,420 will have that much more? They're practically right across the street from each other... but this is my first year out here so I'll take your word for it. Was actually thinking more about hiking to the top of Empire and skiing down the backside (into BCC back into the pass, and my truck) so they'd probably be similar. The whole thing will probably be a no-go but Im gonna throw the gear in the truck just in case.
