First snow for 2011 season!

Just wanted to let everyone know it snowed above about 7800-8000 feet this morning, Sunday August 29th. Good way to get excited about the coming season!

I'm in south lake right now... on the search for snow!

drove carson pass this morning into tahoe, but the rain clouds were more on the north end of the lake...

(yes, i realized I wasted my 10000th post on this... but snow!)
 
More snow again last night Oct 3rd-4th above 9000'. Plus a good amount of accumulated hail above 7000'. Looks like more snow above 8000' in a couple days too. We will be skiing soon....see you all at Boreal in a few weeks!
 
Word! if sonora pass opens up by this weekend team ti dye is having their last snowpatch sesh for the year at levitt if anyone wants to get some turns.
 
I was in a blizzard when I was doing some work on our zipline decks. 50+ feet in the air and using power tools+ snow, not the best
