FIRST SNOW BITCHES

It snowed in like mid June here, but only for like a minute. Weirdest thing ever

It snowed up in the rockies about a week ago, two days ago when my friend and I climbed a mountain there has a solid 5" in shady spots left over.

Do I win???

There's been reports of a dusting on the mountain tops in the Rockies, Purcells, and Cascades of British Columbia. Hard to believe from where I'm sitting. On Vancouver Island right now in the midst of a heat wave. Still two weeks left in summer though, no need to get anxious yet. When I finish work in late October and get back to the Kootenays - now that's the time to get the stoke on.

saw this on the a basin facebook.

in winter park on saturday morning it was 30 degrees and was that way every night in walden at the dunes.

so stoked for this winter. hope we get an epic season

seriously.

im still jelly though, where i am it was 85 today, and its supposed to be 90 tomorrow and 95-100 for the rest of the week. sucks, especially for the first week of school

WHOA someone had to ruins everyones thunder..But fuck you haha, kidding. Stoked to hear that, its been getting pretty cold near chicago.

There was a small amount of dust falling just west of jasper towards mt robson this weekend.

In edmonton the other night it went down to 1.4 degrees, I was so stoked, then this week it goes back to 30.

it has reached that point of the year when all the movies are being shipped out and talk of snow in the mountains is about where i have this empty void in my stomach that just wants to go ski sooo badly.

yo government. Take out your big climate changing machines and make it snow everywhere. I promise it'll be good for the economy

I heard the humitity is suppossed to be perfect and the temp too that day!

Sorry man but TWA is right theres no way of knowing that stuff yet just too many factors.

Have fun skiing that. How about posting when you get actual skiable snow. Glacier National Park gets snow all the time in August, but that doesn't mean its skiable...

Exactly what im thinking, it's 80 and sunny right now. Ima get out and go for a hike.

Although my mind is starting to wander back to skiing more and more often...

Some new snow on the peaks around Retallack this past weekend.

Went for a hike and filled my water bottle up with fresh snow. 85F and sunny down on the lake.

Stuff at 13k+ feet on the side of a cliff. Whee it snowed at insane altitudes. Does that all the time.

you're a piece of shit dude. learn to get stoked, sure it's possible to snow here any month of the year but it's the excitement of the changing weather. You go ahead and keep enjoying summer, fagstick.

It snowed in Glacier Park begining of July this year and it snowed last week too. This still makes me stoked for winter though!
