First ski area to open?

when does the first ski area in CO. open? doesnt loveland open like the first week of october? or is it towards the end of october? i know it will suck but i just want to ski really really bad. mabye ill go with some friends and find a place to build a jump or somethin.

Loveland usually opens October 15th with A-basin and Copper opening up the next weekend. Theres usually two runs and a rail or two. It can get pretty crowded at A-basin early season.

A-basin is a shitshow early season- too many people doin wierd stuff cause they are tryin to get their ski legs back and its a mess
