Hey guys, I've been working on a showreel for a little while to give to businesses instead of showing them a bunch of videos I've made. I'm sure there will be a ton of stuff which can improved before I have it perfect, so a quick look from anyone is greatly appreciated.

I liked it, it lacked some flow and some shots seemed out of place, but the quality of the shots was there definitely. What are you filming with? Music had a little too much "summer happy vibes" too it but thats just my music preference. Using more music queues would definitely help your reel out too

Thanks man! I'm filming on a t3i

Which of the shots seemed out of place? I'd like to make sure it flows as well as possible

I guess music is personal preference haha, I played around with a whole bunch of songs before I decided on this one

Again thanks for the help, I remember seeing your Thornapple Bridge video on here awhile back and I really enjoyed it!

I liked it mostly. some of the filming you could have gone without (almost all ski footage). I also felt that none of the cuts had any rhyme or reason. THe beats to the song are too soft and it seemed forced. Work on the flow

Thanks, I wasn't 100% sure on using the ski shots at first, that'll have to be something I think about then. As for the flow of it, I think im going to try a different song and post up a revised draft within a few days.

A few others I've shown this too felt it was a bit too short? any thoughts on that?

Thanks man!

I've been using a t3i with the kit lens, 50mm 1.8, tamron 10-24 and Canon 70-200 f4

length is good. you dont want your reel to be too long. depending on song and removal of footage you may be able to add more appropriate footage that will make the reel leaps and bounds better

Alright! I guess I'll just have to have a bit more of a play around with the music and shots, Thanks again.
