First repair job

i did my first ptex job on me and my dads skis

not super pretty but it’s smooth and level and that’s what matter (i think)

Any tips to do better next time

Looks pretty good! I took my skis to a shop and the filled a similar thing in with epoxy. Fucking thing started cracking on the first lap. The edge was punched in a good amount, yanked it out and filled it.
 
nice job. last year i had a core shot exactly like that on my skis and i cut a piece of base plastic off of a broken pair of skis and trimmed it to fit in the hole exactly like a puzzle piece. epoxied it in and clamped overnight then filled the gaps with ptex. pretty bundy but it lasted like 30 more wet spring days and never came off.

Same shit happened to me, ended up using grounded up p Tex bits and epoxy. It worked pretty good with added p Tex over top.
