First rail you built

What was the first rail you built? Did you follow plans or just wing it???

my first rail i built was a 8 foot pvc 2 years ago. I basicly NAILED a board to the bottom, and put some stands on. That was my first rail though, ive improved my building : )

we made a 8 foot buy like 10 or 12 inches and we put puck board on it and we were winging it like the whole way and it works great

well for blading, i made a 1 foot high raail, so ghetto, and skiing , a metal rail that cracked

i made a 1 x 1 box with a top cover of an old shelf that had laminate on top of particale board. we christened it the pasqually box and put a sticker in his honor on the top (pasqually is the italian cook dude from chuck e cheese)

i made a 9 foot long straight box with a countertop laminate topsheet, still have it too, and i made up super detailed plans which i probably didnt even need

i just went with it n came out with a 16 ft long 16 in. wide 3 ft. tall box that was perfect

bout 2 foot high, 10 foot long single barrel shotgun, pretty much found some old meatl in my garage, took it into the shop at school, and just went at it

I built a 10ft by 1 ft by 1ft box. Except I didn't really build it, cause we have this handyman see? And I asked him some advice and he basically just DID it. I epoxied the top though, so I did something! and I came up with the plan kinda and shit like that, and it's not like he grinded it at all.

i made a 16ft long, 6 inch wide box. no plans, just winged it. turned out pretty well.

practically finished it yesterday 20 ft shotgun about a foot and a half high. all i need to do is put the hoizontal supports on and i havent decided what length yet so. i based it off of a rail i saw in post a pic of your rail thread but other than that i didnt right anything down it was all in my head
