First music video. Thoughs?

i honestly wasn't a huge fan of it. the colors were a little too greenish. some of the shots looked a bit overexposed and the green tint really showed in the highlights. i thought the shot of him up on the mountain was really awkward. the framing was a bit weird for the space he was in.
one thing that was kind of a big turn off for me right from the start was how un-enthusiastic he was. i know thats hard to translate with different people and types of artists like that but the song sounded way more upbeat and faster paced than what the video portrayed.
not trying to be a dick, just some things to watch out for next time. keep doin those tho and you will get a method down pretty easily and start nailin them.

I'm no expert but to me, a music video should portray the general attitude of the song. Your song was upbeat, angry, and a bit hardcore. The video on the other hand, was slow moving, nice, and chill. He could have been singing an acoustic song about summer and the video would fit.
For what it was, the video was put together nicely. I just think it lacked creativity. Every shot was just him rapping to himself in a different setting. Throw some scenes in there that aren't just close ups on him rapping. That gets boring pretty quickly.
Also, that green tint was pretty distracting. I can see how you could be trying to make it an effect, but it's just not quite right. Either go big or go home there because when you just leave it like that it leaves the viewer wondering if it was intentional or not.
One last thing: damn that guy was hard to listen to. I'm not a fan of rap but that guy was exceptionally bad.

i have taken notice to the green tint in most of the shots and will re edit them and have a new one up tomorrow also the order is just going to have to stay it wasnt anything super serious just dipping my feet in the water to see how i could do with something like this it was mostly directed by him i just helped covey the idea for it to the camera he would say a jump off point and i would take it from there which isnt the best way to shoot something like this but next time i shoot one it will be directed a bit more and possibly broken down so that it can be done shot by shot and fit everything a lot better

It's really not my kind of music, but I'll try give some helpful comments.
Too shaky a lot of the time
Opening clip at the diy recording studio was weird as hell, looks like he's recording in a 1980s bedroom, try and detract from the background somehow, be it using the DOF, or lighting, whatever, It was just strange to me.
Framing on that mountain shot was weird, idk what it is about it, might have been better further down with him looking more straight/down, rather than up.
But yeah that guy didn't seem to really give a shit, which made it weird at 1:19 when it's just a tripod shot of him whispering with his lips and shaking his hands about. while looking like a giant compared to the tiny rubbish bin.
A lot of the negatives of it are also down to him, looking at the ground, away from the camera the whole time, being really placid, not that I'd be better, just that's a thing to note.

alright lets see i fixed or tried to fix the greenish tent to it awhile ago second off looking back on this after a time it could have been done a whole lot better but trial and error now that i watch it the song is starting to get a bit annoying also addressing that he is a friend of mine we have know each other for quite a few years and was doing this as a favor not a paid job basically so this song wouldnt be my first choice to listen to but hoping you understand a bit more why it was chosen lets see what else...the order of the shots is a bit strange not a huge fan of it now that i look at them and the awkwardness of some of the shots is evident now such as the smoking shots but they were intended to be filler but didnt really fit i think thats it for the moment if i missed anything and anyone could point it out thatd be much appreciated and i will try and fix it
