hit my first flips yesterday and felt great. There's always those nerves of "do i remember how to do this?" and it feels good to quiet those thoughts and trust the muscle memory

Hit some flat 3s and rodeo 5s a week or 2 ago when it was 10 degrees here and everything was melting but it froze and I’m back to no flips lol. Felt great though and I hope to try some new ones in the spring

Sick! I've been watching Bryants insta stories. I actually came back to NY for thanksgiving but I got sick and didnt make it over to jore.

You gotta pull up sometime dude the new crew actually builds features that aren’t death traps lmao. Apparently it got so bad that now whenever park crew wants to add a feature/new build they have to submit a full report to ORDA including diagrams with exact dimensions of takeoffs and landings etc.

Sucked that they used to have such a good freeskiing scene for a few years then pretty much evaporated.

West doesn't seem like they build a park anymore. Gore is it. Love to see them stepping up!

Honestly seeing the big jumps on the arena last season brought a tear to my eye!

I think you’d be pleasantly surprised there’s actually like a resurgence of freeskiing going on there rn. I see more kids in the park than I ever have. On weekends it’s all like middle/high school age kids kitted out in arsenic and vishnu and pivots etc. And some of these kids are filthy at rails for how old they are. I’m talking like 20 kids sessioning the same 3 features lol. Ppl are absolutely sending the natty features too.

They started maintaining their rails much better with heat waxing and just put in a couple 30 footers.

You’d also be surprised to hear that West is firing now too and has the same kind of popularity as Jore parks amongst the kids, they have a new park crew that builds and maintains the features much better.
