First edit with my T2i

Angles were real repetitive, walk around a little. Also, the shots with the edging were horrible, the black was way to dark and way to sharp, id suggest just bagging it.

yeah i found it sorta hard to watch because it seemed wayyyy to sharp. get some different angles or maybe some moving shots. looked like you turned the contrast up pretty high also. just a few pointers but keep workin on it.

i felt that the transition at :38 s was a little too long, and that you should either turn up the music or turn down the sound because the slow motion sound of people hitting boxes got a bit annoying, but that might be just because i have headphones in.

I didn't find it all that bad. Now, I'm not a cinematographer, but I didn't feel like a would have made a better edit. Though, that's probably because I liked the editting more than the shots itself. Like eheath said, the angles got boring.

i liked it a lot, good work!
few things:-definitely not feeling that vignette. try not to use a vignette at all, and if you do, at least make sure it's a VERY subtle & round one. -didn't really like the fast forward into tricks. -skiing audio volume was too high-that cut on that jump shot at the end was kind of awkward and harsh.

Overall, pretty good. I'd say just focus on getting more angles and also it felt too mellow for me, By 15 seconds in I was already bored.

Switch up your shots more...your angles are fine but don't put a whole bunch of clips of the same box right in a row...gets a little boring. Overall great skiing though. just my two sence

the black edging was definitely aukward. If you brought it in closer to the center of the frame it might work better for you. But overall, good first edit. Holla to to my Gypsy Magik friends.

2nd one was better imo. Only shot I didn't really like was the one of the seagull flying away. I always try to avoid panning two directions in one shot, or zooming in and out in one shot, or anything like that. To me it just seems uncut and messy, although I know it can be hard to avoid.

Good stuff overall for sure though!

second one is a lot better. i would change some of the scenery shots, but besides that i enjoyed it

Much better on the second one. I like that you cut up :18-:24. Makes a simple shot that much more appealing.
