First Edit (Need help)

1 suggestion. dont use a clip more then once unless its from different angles.

and your cameras kinda sucky, but thats not something id worry about.

you kids are 9? thats ill.

not bad man,

try to introduce the skiers more, like show them at the top talking or something like that rather than the name then straight clips.

dont do the editing with what you did on the whale box for one of the clips, just my opinion but it takes away form the edit,

but other than that it was good, looked like you guys had fun and that was good.

nope just the lil kid in the middle others are 12 and 13 and ive noticed the cameras shit i found it in a drawer at my house

ive never made an edit so im not up on styles and stuff, but ide suggest watch thousands of edits and you will pick up little tricks.

you guys are pretty good, and that kid in the black looked so dope lol

ha thtas the only day he wore it and we asked him why he never wears it he said when you wear them its not like swimming in it

1.Don't use that neon blue title page, instead just write the font over an opening video clip. It is pretty easy to do using Movie Maker(which i'm guessing you used).

2. Don't use still pictures like that one of the arm, they aren't really needed.

3. Like #1, introduce each skier with just text overlaying clips.

Not to bad but the biggest key to makin good edits is the work behind the screen. id say what makes a good edit is 50% shots, 40% editing, and 10% song. Try to look into sony vegas its what i use and its not to hard and its a huge step up from WMM or whatever you used but probs WMM. And always use the song to your advantage, use the beats and flows of it and match them to the shots.

i was trying to have a bunch of landing clips that were just like 1 second long in the forst beats of song but i worked on it for a good hour and couldnt get it and yes im using WMM

shit guys that rainbow box gap thing is ridiculous, you were sendin it... haha one major thing about this edit is to get your lighting issues fixed. a bunch of times you were filming directly into the light and you could barely see the rider. use some creative angles and problem solved. but overall nice job for first edit keep it up!

that 9 year old kid is craaaazy. and with shitty cameras i would suggest still shots instead of shaky follow cams or pans. and like someone said, can't remember who, just put random hyjinx and funny interview clips in.

1. Either don't use music, or cut out all background noise.2. Introduce the skiers.3. Don't use a clip more than once.4. Don't add weird/different camera effects it's harder to watch.
Other than that is was good, you guys are pretty dope for your age. Oh, and one more suggestion, please don't wear a Lebron James jersey while skiing.

Second kid boosted the hell out of that rainbow rail. That was awesome.

More close shots, less chiddy bang, no weird effects.

that little kid threw down...Anyway, get a better editing software, don't use corny effects, those slideshow title screens kill even the best edits, but most of all just watch as many good/well made ski videos and edits as you can. Decide what you like to see in an edit and then think about how you can make a better one. Make the edit reflect yourself and your riding.Props for going out and doing it though.

As said before, don't use the same trick twice unless from different angles.

Also I would try to add some more variety in with jumps and what not. Maybe work on some 3s with grabs, steezy little ones, just to bring a little more style to the edit as a whole.

Pretty good for the first edit though.

ha its not a gap just a normal box that he wasnt expecting to take so far his helmet and hat came off when he landed( massive heavy head)....thats how you know your shits legit-chug

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I WANTED TO UNVEIL CHIDDY BANG TO THE MASSES

CAN'T BELIVE SOMEONE BEAT ME TO IT
