What's up East Coaster,

I am from Quebec and I was wondering what's the first hill to open a decent park with decent jump?

Definitely not a mountain in Quebec because jump's come's arround mid january....

Anyone has Idea?

Thanks!

Tremblant have jumps on the North Side pretty much from the beginning of the season if there's enough snow, they're not big but they're jumps.

Last year Sunday River had a small one up pretty quick, and by mid November they usually have 1-2 in a line on Upper Sunday Punch

Yeah mount snow had one jump right on their opening day actually but who knows what'll be the first mountain this year653839.jpeg

Also when Mount Snow gets up and running, they'll start building decent jumps on Nitro and keep building bigger jumps in the Gulch and in Inferno, if they can make enough snow to build those huge jumps, but they'll have them up usually around late January, early February-ish.

if you want to saty in quebec go to Avila last year they were the first too have jumps if I remember correctly

Classic! I dont think we are even gonna have rails at Willard this year because my boss refuses to by new ones.

Lol that my hill in the midwest can put out 2 15 footers an 25 and a 35 lip to knuckle on opening day when killi and snow can barely do that. Granted the east coast jibs setups are more fun but they should be abls to keep up. Just sayin

Pics or it didn't happen, puuuuuuussaaaaaaaay. But T72 at Sunday River has like what, a three jump line open? All at least 30'. But it gets cold as shit in the midwest. We've had a whack late fall/early winter here in New England, so much temperature fluctuation. And you can have your thirty-five footer, but it's awfully built, and has a glacier for a landing.

It's a 4 jump line, I was there today. It was all ice... the last jump was like 35-40' I'd guess, the first two were like 20 and the 3rd was 30ish

Yeah it's all man made at this point, clearly. They'll get better as time goes on but I really want to see what Loon and Cranmore do this year. T72 isn't groundbreaking, in my opinion. Sunday River is just starting to get back into the big park game rocking chair was a joke last season. Haywire and Loon Mountain Park will still be better, I think anyways.

yeah I'm stoked for Haywire this year. We've got guns going in stomping grounds and haywire right now with the plan to be opening it all at once right away

Any idea if Haywire/Sloaf parks in general will be expanding? I've heard whispers on Loon expanding by a decent amount, and Mt. Snow adding another park.

the thing about t72 that will make it superior is one of the fastest superquads in the ec will access it top to bottom... and there are hardly ever lines on north peak quad. There wont be a park that can compare to its lap-ability on the ec

Mount St. Louis Moonstone in Ontario, they opened a 30 and and a 40 I believe on the first saturday of operation which was November 30th and they just opened a 15 and a 20 last friday!

apparently whiteface has a couple up. not sure if theyre legit jumps or just little early season tables

I believe Mount Snow finished up Nitro, and that will have around 3 jumps on it. They may have added some more to Gulch also.

I knew that, I wasent sure if they just put a bunch of jumps up in gulch in place of the rails who knows.

it's really dumb that they would remove features just to make snow.

Now that the season is not preseason the park is so fucking crowded.

And now the flow of the nitro park is interrupted by anyone lapping the quad

Nitro gets sooo crowded when the season starts. I like to screw around and hike in prospector just to get away from everyone haha.
