I love it!!!!, i would love it even more if it didnt have the pocket or the zipper but what ever,, i love the hoodie! so sick!
 
45$ a hoodie is pretty affordable and 420$ for a full suit is pretty affordable plus it looks way dope more than pretty much any company I've seen,sooo sick
 
From my experience, the difference between a 5k/5k and a 15k/15k was that my 5k seemed to almost adsorb water making the jacket heavy and feeling kind of waterlogged. While my 15k keeps my perfectly dry and no water gets through the outer shell out all. However, my 5k could of just been a crappy jacket.

Though I personally haven't worn any 8k/8k outerwear so there may be a significant difference between 5 and 8 that I'm oblivious too, which is probably the case.
 
soooo sick love the black jacket with blue pants. probably gonna save some money and get a suit for next year. maybe get the purple and yellow hoodie, looks ill.
 
First let me say, thank you NS for showing so much interest in First Drop. Expect an official "launch" this weekend. The website is still being worked on, and my new things will be happening in the next few weeks.
Expect real dope pipe gloves, basketball jerseys, new flat-brims, and other goodies. You can place multiple separate orders and everything will get combined and shipped together, that is not a problem.
To answer a few of your questions. Yes the middle pocket in front is a little different, but let me assure you it works flawlessly. Anyone who saw me skiing early season at A-Basin can attest that the pocket always stays put, and is very useful. The magnets do a great job. The pocket is also low enough that it allows you to still rock a partial open coat without a problem. It really only hangs over by a little over an inch, it just looks like more because of the center zipper flap.
For the price, I wanted to price it low because I know how much it sucks to cough up $900 for a North Face or Trew suit. So I thought $420 with free shipping was pretty affordable. Expect prices to jump a little after pre-orders end.
As far as the ship date goes, I estimated on the long side. I am hoping to ship before then. Next year you can expect early pre-orders in the summer, or possibly no pre-orders at all, direct shipping in the fall. But this year, anyone who wants a real dope first year suit should jump on it. The designs/colors will change next year.
For the waterproofing, a few of you were spot on. Anything over a few hundred MM is insignificant, and only hinders breathability. I was lucky enough to get a personal demo at the REI HQ in Washington and they showed me first hand what a scam the whole waterproofing rating was. Trust me, the suit will keep you warm, ventilated, and dry. I guarantee it. The fabrics and materials have been hand picked by me and they are the most durable materials money can buy, nothing thin and cheap.
The suit also has a medium weight liner for warmth accompanied by mesh for breathability.
The suit is honestly the most comfortable thing I have ever worn.
For the hoodies, there will be full sizing and color availability posted in the next day or so.

Looks sick. I looked at the measurements though, and its not as big as I was expecting. The colorway is amazing though. I am surprisingly digging the black/gray combo.
 
Yeah, its pretty fucking big. The model in the pictures is 6, 1" and he had the bib suspenders pretty tight, they could go WAY lower...
Also, I've gotten a number of questions about hoodie sizing. Sorry there isn't any size chart up, I should have one up hopefully tomorrow. For those who are wondering, here is the sizing for the XXL-
XXL hoodie-
36 inches tall (waist cuff to shoulders)26 inches wide (at waist and at chest- armpits)76 inces wide- sleeve to sleeve.
Fabric is the thickest single layer hoodie fabric money can buy.

this stuffs really nice man, sucks cause ive already preordered my saga suit, ill definitely pick up some hoodies tho those are really nice seem dope to and have sick sizing. this is sagas new competition, this companies gonna blow up in the next year or two never really heard of it but im already loving it. props first drop. love the pricing to 420 for a suit.....i smell some stoners at heart ;) mad respect
 
you sir are an idiot. for starters you spelled unaffordable wrong. and last, are you serious? a good Oakley jacket almost costs you the same amount as the entire first drop kit.
 
looks absolutely ill, and lesh is a minnesota man if i'm not mistaken? MN! also not sure if this was mentioned but are the hoodies and all the non-outerwear items on pre-order right now too?
