First drop ads getting me in trouble

Here i am on Newschoolers like any other day in my first block (Pre Engineering 1) when my teacher walked over to my computer and saw the first drops ads on the side of the screen. She was convinced i was looking at porn, and demanded me to shut off my computer. I am now banned from using the computers in class for the mean time and might get in further trouble with the school
 
Always gotta keep a bullshit page open. Whenever i'm screwing around in class, i always keep a page of work or something productive and open it real quick if someone walks by.
 
Some girls was looking over my shoulder yesterday at school and saw the ads. They thought I was watching porn. Awkward
 
whenever im on ns i hover my mouse on the refresh button, just in case those ads come up

they were fun at first, and i still enjoy them at home but now at UNI they make me paranoid

i was thinking about a solution, its pretty crazy though

you can log into ns and specify that your at work/school

you would still have all the ads except those that portray to other people around you that you are up to no good (gigidy gigidy)

will probably never see the day though, im guessing too much formating

See the ads, refresh the page. Not that hard, id say that most of the time nobody will notice for the 1 second it is up before you refresh it.
 
omg there are so many fucking threads on this already. Why are you on NS during class anyway? The ads arent even that bad they are Pg-13 at worst and FD pays good money for them. Get adblock if a chick in a bikini is too much for you to handle.
 
Adblock Plus for Firefox works like a charm, and when it does miss an ad, you can right click on it and block it
 
you know what I do? I use the zoom feature in chrome and just zoom them right off of the screen.....problem solved without having to download adblock.
 
i've never had a teacher see them, but some peers have and i get weirddd looks. whenever i get them at school i always refresh the page so i get new ads
 
I don't really have this problem, but i'll support this thread. The ads are pretty fucking stupid if you ask me, the photoshop work is terrible and it just looks cheap

the video ads are pretty pointless. Hey, here's some guys tailgating drinking beers! Then a FD / Virtika logos show up. Ok. so....is there FD beer? FD gas grill? confused. If you buy FD, you will have a good time tailgating with friends. Or the ads with chicks.... Basically, FD marketing =

If you're in highschool, you shouldn't be on computers anyways. If you're in college, why the fuck do you care? Quit worrying so much about what people think of you.
