First Double?

I am headed to a big air comp tomorrow and was looking for a little insight on doing a double. First I was thinking dub flat or kang. I can do cork 7,9 and 5 also. Basically I was just wondering how to set for a double compared ot a single flip and an other tips for doing this.
 
Have never tried but I have never started by learning tricks on tramp or bag first. Always done it to snow first so I'd feel confident
 
If you can do sw cork/rodeo 5's then I'd suggest switch dub cork 9 or 10 because they're basically that rotation you just keep going with the flip. I've never done either just from what I hear switch dubs are easier to start out with if you know the rotation
 
I do not recommend just going out and hucking a dub, regardless of whether or not thats how you usually do new tricks.

But if you are gonna do it anyways then just remember that they arent that hard. Its just one extra flip.

my first dub was a Dub cork 12. took the first one to my feet. Id do a dub cork or a kang for your first.
 
Thanks man! That's what I'm talking about I always try to go to a friend or someone who could give me a little insight on the trick before I do it. I'm not going to just huck and hope. More of an educated guess haha
 
If you're good with switch, sw dub 9 or 10 is probably the easiest one you can pull. go Dub flat if its a smaller jump (50 footish) but i've seen way to many people heavily backslap and scorpion… dub cork 12 is the easiest first time huck if you've never tried any dubs out of the park but you're gonna need a decent jump
