First day on new pair of skis #2

Last week I got my brand new Line Chronics. On the first day skiing on them, on the 4th run the other ski snapped on a normal jump. Aren't these skis supposed to hold up in park? I don't think it's normal for park ski to snap after 20 mins of skiing. I have tried to contact the company from which I bought the skis and they haven't replied anything. I have also sent Line Skis message without getting any answer.

What should I do?

When did you send them a email? Thanksgiving was yesterday and most people are not around the day before because they have to drive to where dinner is.

If they don't give you a email back today I would call them on monday. Don't forget to check your spam folder.

This is how warranties work- you take them back to the shop you bought them from or to an authorized Line dealer along with the receipt and they will take it from there. Contacting the company directly won't work very well as these companies aren't really set up to deal with consumers.

Email was sent on monday 25th. Actually I ordered the skis from importer and my coach took care of the order. He has also tried to contact the company with no success. The shop is nowhere near I live...

When i snapped my skis, i just emailed eve(the place where i had bought it from) and they had taken care of the rest. Like said before, I'm pretty sure you can go to any line dealer and they will take care of it for you.

You can take them to any shop that carries Line.

I'm sure they'd appreciate a 6 pack for their efforts, warranties on skis that you didn't sell isn't a great time...

I checked Line dealers and the only shop was the shop I bought them from and it's 9 hours away so I can't really just take them there.

Call the importer, explain the situation, and maybe you can mail them the skis, so they can take them forward. They are pretty cool about warranties.

Where the hell do you live that there is skiing, but the nearest line shop is 9 hours away. Dear god. Anyway, your best bet is to bring them to a shop that carries them, alot of companies will not even talk to the individual customer.

Yeah I would definitely go back to the source and see what they can do. In Finland are importers like an online shop like Evo or Backcountry or how does that all work? Here if you bought online and have issues that would need warranting and there wasn't a local dealer, going back through the online shop would be your best bet.

My coach took care of the order so I don't really know how it worked. He has tried to contact the company but hasn't gotten any reply.

Sounds like your pretty much screwed, why would your coach be doing this shit for you anyway. Who has someone else buy their skis for them.
