Firewire to esata or usb 2.0??

is it possible yo get a wire that goes from a 4 pin firewire to a esata or usb 2.0??

just got the toshiba that best buy had on friday for 399 over the sony they had for 399 the only problem is this one doesnt have the firewire port only an esata and a usb 2.0.

dont think it will work every where i have looked said that they cant just make a cable to connect the two. but for $3 ill give it a shot...

it has 3 usb 2.0 ports and 1 esata port but no firewire ports... I need a firewire port to upload video to the computer.

sorry forgot to mention it doesnt have an express card slot. Its pretty sweet design i know but for a core 2 duo and 4 gigs ddr3 only 449 is a good deal i couldnt pass up

You cant find a cable to do this. Esata, firewire, and usb all have different ways of sending data so a mere cable wont help you. If u find one that is just a cable than dont buy it because it lying to you and wont work. You need some type of hardware to do this. Or find a freind with a Mac... im pretty sure they have firewire so u can have him get the data for u.
